A Big Boy Room

Thanks to Connie Holsteen for helping me pick my paint colors and thanks to my dad for helping with the labor of painting Gage's room the job is complete.
A change in color is complete. I really like the outcome. Gage really wanted to help paint. I had never told him about paint and how to do it but when Grandpa Carnahan came over last night to finish (Gage wasn't there Wed. night to see the process) he told Grandpa Carnahan "paint"? Grandpa said yeah, i'm here to help your mommy paint. Gage then took his hand and lead him to his bedroom. Then Gage wanted to help open paint cans, stir and paint. Thats when Allen came in and had to get him out. We finished the painting in about an hour.

After the paint had dryed for a couple hours Allen wanted to see how the bed looked in the room.

So about 9:15 p.m. we started bringing in parts of the bed and putting it togather. So here is what it looks like.

Thanks to Kenny Schoenefer for Gage's bedroom suite. Let me tell you that you can't buy this nice of furniture any where out there! Allen and I had looked several places and then I gave up and printed some pictures then designed it to my taste and took it to Parsons to Bryson Nutters grandpa Kenny Schoenefer. I am so excited about how it turned out. WE LOVE IT!

Baby Burchett

Sunday afternoon Gage and I were invited over to my Aunt Judy's to get to see the newest family member. Jack Burchett! Jack was born April 13 (Gage's Birthday) and we were so excited to get to go visit them.
When we showed up Gage had fallen esleep right when we left Mound Valley so it took a few minutes for him to wake up but when he did he was somewhat interested in the baby.

We had a nice time visiting and I enjoyed holding the baby too. Jack is very cute and Kari and Justin should be very proud.
(Sorry to my mom for skipping out on the Mothers Day luncheon)
