RIB-EYE STEAK WITH WHISKEY CREAM SAUCE

My sister bought me this cookbook for Christmas. It's The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond. It is an awesome book! If you are looking for a unique gift for somebody this is the gift for a person who likes the country and cooking. The next new recipe was rib-eye steak with whiskey cream sauce. This wasn't the plan as I was going to try a different recipe but I guess I wasn't paying enough attention and pulled out the wrong steak so I went with the steak that was thawed.


I had to call a neighbor to see if she had any whiskey I could borrow. She did, so I traded a dozen eggs for a 1/4 cup whiskey.

1-10 Allen rated it an 8. I think the rating would have been higher if he would have ate when supper was hot & ready and not 30 minutes later.
